Thai mats / lounger with kapok filling
Our foldable Thai mats come in beautiful colors and are the perfect mat for camping or great as guest bed or simply as relaxation mat in the living room. The case is sewed from cotton fabric and decorated with traditional matinees and ornaments. The inside is filled with kapok.

kapok (malay) also know as plant down feather is the fibre of the kapok-tree (ceiba pentandra). It is made of the 1,5 - 4cm long fibers of the fruits of this tropical tree. The fibers have a thin wax layer which on one hand makes them impossible to spin but on the other makes them suitable for the usage of fillings because they are not wettable. They are often used for the filling of mattresses.
